Remember that old joke? When that happened?

"They changed the name of the Washington Bullets because they didn't want it to be associated with violence. Now they're just called the Bullets."

I understand they had to remove the 'Bullets' part because of the connotation with guns, a bad thing to be associated with in DC.

They had the 'Up to the Manute' report on a local radio station years ago. That's the only thing I know about him.

My brother had a poster of Manute Bol up in his room when we were kids. He was truly a great man. I might have mentioned this in another thread. But goddamn. I wish I liked an NBA team enough to be proud of the fact that he could have p... OK, I don't know where I am going with this.
