I have to admit that it actually sort of makes Batman seem more exciting.

This is after watching 'Dark Knight'. So I pop in the Keaton Nicholson movie and am dismayed to see how campy and lame it really was. I remember the hype when it first came out, how dark it was. Heh, want to talk about dark? It's like watching a colorized Three Stooges short in comparison.
