Is he still releasing his multitracks? A friend of mine is a huge NIN fan and keeps bugging me about singing on one of his songs. Man... now that I have my DAW back, and a copy of Sonar, I could really see myself doing that soon. If I find a song of theirs I like enough to sing of course. NIN's not my favorit band. I do have to give Reznor credit, though, both for being willing to try things that seem likely to backfire horribly in the interest of art, and for having a fuckload of music in his head. Jesus Christ. When HASN'T there been a new NIN album? The man's got things on his mind.

The Slip. It's something of a return to form after Ghosts, seeing him getting back to the heavier, more abrasive sound he had for Year Zero. The real kicker, though, is that this album is being released completely 100% free. You can download it in MP3, M4A, FLAC, or even WAV format. If Trent continues down this road, I can see other artists follow suit.

I was waffling about seeing NIN when they come to Oklahoma City in August, but now it's basically guaranteed. I owe him something.
