Well see that's the thing. They're offering the album for download from their website, and they are allowing you to set whatever cost you want for it. So, if you want the album free, you can get it for free by downloading it from the radiohead website and that's entirely legal. But instead people are downloadaing the *exact same files* off of Limewire and bittorrent. I fail to see the point of this.

So the band wants the music to get exposure, right? and since they already got paid a bunch of money to record the songs they are not that worried about not making as much on possible sales, right? so if they leak the music to the internet for all to grab it's a good thing for us, right?

As I said in the Oink thread, to me, the best part about In Rainbows is that it's on Limewire. To put this in perspective, let's bring back a good couple o'buds from the BBS days...

Q: Is this a paying gig?
A: Shadup, Q. Work's work.

Q: Right, right. So there's not gonna be any copyright issues what with you having totally stolen this from Rob--
A: Yeah and Rob stole it from Ben to begin with. Just ask the goddamn questions, Skippy.

Q: Alright, alright! Jeeze, someone didn't get his coffee in the morning. Do you take it black or with cream and sugar?
A: Fuck you.
Q: Testy Testy. Fine... Who would ever make a point of downloading an album illegally for free when it is just as easy if not easier to download that same album legally for free? A: Fucking teenagers.

I've was a huge Radiohead fan but the last song I actually liked was "There There" off the "Hail to the Thief" album. After that, to me, they have just turned into a confusing uninteligable mess.

I listened to the whole thing at the behest of several of my friends, but I still fail to see what the big deal about Radiohead is.
