When Herbie the elf blows off elf practice and then gets reamed out by the boss elf he decides to get the flock out of Santa's place. He does this by climbing out a window.

Having to sneak out of the place insinuates a captive workforce. Why can't Herbie the elf just give his notice and leave with dignity and accrued vacation time? I feel the elves are being forced to work for the jolly sweatshop owner. The boss elf is obviously the 'whip' elf. Amnesty International should be made aware of this inhuman* practice.
