GGR: Can't believe it took me so long to see this. I mean, I like biting, electric dialogue, and I hate salespeople and enjoy watching them suffer, so to me, this is probably the greatest movie of all time! I give it ***1/2 stars, maybe ****. And finally, I can say "Go to lunch, George!" and not feel like a fraud because I didn't see the movie.
Wicker Park: Almost horrible, almost good, it manages to keep from listing too far in either direction, while drawing a bit of a maze for the viewer to make his way through. Good points are, kinda clever, and Rose Byrne is really hot. Bad points are, it feels stylistically kind of like a two-hour-long commercial for upscale handbags or something, and a paper-thin screenplay. **1/2.
Will you go to lunch, George?!? Go to lunch!
