I agree. The first season was the best, although I'd also say that the most recent one was my second favorite. All of them do some neat things (with varying success as a whole), but that first season just has that existentialist angle that I really love. I like to believe that the last couple of seasons of "Keegan & Peele" had more existentialist humor because they had enjoyed working on "Fargo" so much.
(Peele's work since those days has been amazing but that's another conversation)
