Yes, we watched it. Here was my reaction, which I posted on DISCORD last night:
I did. It was better than I thought it'd be, because it wasn't nearly as jokey as I thought.
I'm a huge Seth MacFarlane fan, but the previews/trailers/ads were just horrible.
As huge a fan of Star Trek as he is, though, it makes sense that he didn't want to overly fuck it up with dumb jokes. I thought it was actually pretty faithful to the spirit of the "source material", with some jokes thrown in.
It was fun. I didn't cringe. I'm happy with it.
