Don't encourage this madman, CGG. He's a frothing psychotic liable to go off at anyone at any time. I feel he is horribly dangerous and without conscience, like a hungry landshark that has escaped the Circus of Horrors and is out looking omnivoriably for any sort of animal flesh that it can find for devouring's sake.

God, is this BBS software horrendous. Every new day seems to do two things, make THAT POINT more clear, and increase my desire to end it all.
that you can click which says "You can moderate this forum."
Yes, I figured that out. I actually work with computers for a living.
You can throw any thread you want out of your base. Please do not *delete* any threads, of course.
Tell you what, instead of this, how about if I just run the goddamn forum however the hell I want. Sound peachy? Super.
As for #2: You will never, ever be able to change the name of this base.
He tasks me, and I shall have him.

Look, Squicky, it's this simple:

Click on the "edit" button that appears on PTX's initial post. You can edit any post in this base. When the edit window comes up, change the radio button from "Sticky" to "Normal."

Furthermore, when you are looking at the base itself (and not this message or any other thread) there will be a link that you can click which says "You can moderate this forum." You can throw any thread you want out of your base. Please do not *delete* any threads, of course. If something is in there that shouldn't be, just chuck it somewhere else. (Keeping in mind that the base is both about movies and sex, which explains why there are some threads that have nothing to do with flicks.)

As for #2: You will never, ever be able to change the name of this base.

I can't fucking unsticky or sticky threads. When is the part where I can actually MODERATE this base, instead of just having my name appear next to that godawful name on the Forum Index?

by pinback » Thu Jun 05, 2003 12:59 pm

How do I:

1. Unsticky a thread.

2. Change the horrible, awful name of this base.

There are going to be some CHANGES around here, people. Hop on the winning train and strap yourselves in.

Welcome, Pinback! You're the new moderator of "Citizen Kane of Nod."

I actually gave you these powers last night. Yet you haven't unstickied the thread you claim to hate seeing sticky. But that's OK! No rush! Some of the other sig-ops got off to kind of a slow start as well.

Anyway, yes, a big hand for "Pinback," ladies and gents! Big hand, now!
