I agree. That a capella cover Flack picked was a bad take.

So is this song by The Beatles:

That is not a good take, Tdarcos.

That's true. I mean, opera singers are terrible singers when they're underwater, right?

(Pinback, please tell Tdarcos how wrong he is.)

I'll go out on a limb here.

The Beatles

The title was famous bands that can't sing, not "can't ever sing."

If even one song of a group is indecipherable then it counts.

I remember seeing Everclear open for Filter when I was in high school. I also remember every song they played sounding the same and getting really bored.

Everclear and Less than Jake

Correction:

"The Kingsmen" did Louie, Louie.

"Sam the Sham and the Pharohs," on the other hand, did Wooly Bully which is also another indecipherable song by a group that can't sing, so it still fits.

Sam the Sham and the Pharohs.

In the movie Mr. Holland's Opus, Richard Dreyfuss as the title character, is a music teaxher explaining something to one of his students. Their song, Louis, Louisd is playing on the phonograph. "These guys can't sing. And they're playing the same three chords over and over. And yet I love it. Why?"
"Because it's fun?"
"Because it's fun."

I think you're all still misunderstanding me. I love the Talking Heads. I love David Byrne! Masterful performer and entertainer.

NIGGA CAN'T SING. It's okay! It makes the songs even better! We love it!

Nigga can't sing.

He can approximate notes well enough to get the song out. Please link to me a song where he can sing.

Talking Heads
Not true, David Byrne can carry a tune.

Dinosaur Jr.

Jay Mascis has a very scratchy and whiny voice and especially on the early albums sometimes wouldn't even be in key. Not like he seemed to care though. I enjoy it for being "unique" I guess.

Like I said.

That should be the big giant flaming warning flag to ICJ that something has to be done about this place. I see Flack's name and think, oh good, finally something worth looking at without squinting my eyes like that one jackass suggested.
