They made it to the western conference finals, which is good, and then imploded as usual, which is bad, but predictable. I'm glad ICJ watched the game he did.

Sour.

No, we're are two days now. Any longer and the blood would coagulate.

by Ice Cream Jonsey » Sun May 29, 2016 3:45 pm

I thought there were supposed to be 5 days between contests. It's already at game seven!

Uh oh

by Flack » Thu May 26, 2016 7:54 am

Yeah, the black uniforms threw me off.

Also, at the end of the first half Cleveland was up by 31 so... okay, maybe they might kill us.

by pinback » Thu May 26, 2016 7:25 am

Toronto: Canada's Portland.

by Ice Cream Jonsey » Wed May 25, 2016 9:32 pm

Cleveland/Portland? Do you mean Cleveland/Toronto?

by Flack » Wed May 25, 2016 5:58 pm

I forgot what the exact number was, but it's something like 9 our of 250 teams have come back from being down 1-3 in the playoffs. GSW holds the greatest season record of all time now so it's not impossible, but with one more home game for OKC, I'm putting my money on them for the series.

I'm watching game 5 of Cleveland/Portland right now. Neither of these teams will sweep us. I don't know if we have anything for LeBron James or not to be honest but it will be an interesting match up.

I mean, at this point the Thunder are unstoppable and I hope they do win this series just so that they can say "Suck It" to everyone that gave them a hard time about trading James Harden.

I would rather watch a game of hockey than discuss last night's blow out, that's how bad it was.

Sunday we will be back at home. Hopefully that will be a better game to watch and discuss.

by ICJ » Thu May 19, 2016 9:04 am

So when we were out, the game was on and I distinctly remember seeing a score of GSW 42, YOUR Oklahoma City Thunder 41.

The final score seemed to be a blow out.

We shall not discuss this game, rather, we look forward to Sunday where ICJ will be there. Well, viewing. I do wish I had the sort of schedule where I could say, "If the Thunder make the finals, I'm flying out to go to a game with Flack."

by Flack » Thu May 19, 2016 4:51 am

In this thread we will not be discussing last night's game.

I saw "One on One", the old basketball game, playing on an Amiga once and it was the most relaxing, serene sound ever.

I also have a joke about Ron Artest putting fans to sleep.

I forgot that we had dinner scheduled with the Grundersons tonight, so actually I will be able to watch the first game from the Thunderdome on Sunday at 6:00PM. This works out because I never have anything going on Sunday and we should expect the Thunder to be (more?) favored at home.

I will be "keeping up" with the game tonight on my phone, however.

by Flack » Wed May 18, 2016 8:18 am

I hate that this is the game that you will end up watching because I'm pretty sure the Thunder will lose this game. Most of the analysts predicted that Golden State would win the first two home games, so the fact that the Thunder won game one means that (a) simply based on the odds, GSW is favored, and (b) GSW is going to come out swinging. Game 3 will be back in OKC so if the Thunder get slaughtered in game two then I am changing the rules and you will have to watch game 3 also. And if they get beat in that game you will have to watch game 4, and so on. Pray that I do not alter the deal further, Calrissian.

Also don't forget that from west coast to east coast that's 6/7/8/9pm.

It has been a long time since I have watched a basketball game. While I enjoy "following" the sport by reading articles and journalism about it, I tend not to watch too many games. I don't really have a pro team I can call my own.

All that changes TOMORROW, as the Thunder will be visiting Oakl-- Golden State to play the Warriors in a pivotal game 2.

Thunder vs Warriors
NBA Conference Finals, Game 2
tomorrow, 7:00 PM on TNT
Oracle Arena, Oakland

Won't you watch with me? I will post a stream!
