Awwww... Do the compwex polywhythms and dwopped-D tuning hurt your pwecious wittle ears?
I assure you that's not it.

Dropped-D is for dumbasses that can't make anything sound "metal" in normal key.

That is the best post you have ever posted on this, or any other, BBS.

Think about why, and then continue.

BRIAN, DON'T!

Oasis.

Yes. Give us something here, Pinback. We're trying to work with you.

Could Pinback give us his Grade A narrative on the concert, complete with colorful imagery and how it was getting a second hand high?

And was it Tool or Oasis that is known for talking shit about every other band in the Universe? Tend to confuse the two for whatever reason.

It was big and loud and smelled like pot. And the music was good.

What's not to like?

by Ice Cream Jonsey » Sun Jan 24, 2016 11:17 am

So, going to a big-name rock concert like that is not something I would normally do. What was it like? Sell me on it!

by pinback » Sat Jan 23, 2016 11:49 pm

Well, that was a rock and roll show. No two ways about it.

by pinback » Sat Jan 23, 2016 5:00 pm

Let's DO THIS SHIT, BRIAN!!!

So you just decided to start posting as you with a different name.
Uh, "Start" Posting? I'm sure I've been making comments as "Tdarcos Legal Department" for at least six months. Maybe longer, but this BBS doesn't allow searches by username for guest postings.

Paul, tell us ONE THING you're going to do differently going forward and I'll unban your regular account.

If you can't tell us HOW YOU WILL CHANGE then I'm banning this one too. Come on now.
Okay, I was hoping you would say somethjing like this so I could have a reason to want to do better. The full explanation is too long, it will be posted at Caltrops and you can read it there.

1. I will try very hard to give appropriate, short and meaningful responses when they are appropriate to the subject.

So that's what I wanted to say. If I can go back to normal, I will do my damndest to make relevant comments, to make them short and to the point, and try to be on topic. I strongly believe I sm capable of doing that.

2. But it also means that when I make a mistake I encourage being told soon, and not merely that I'm being an asshole, but why I'm being an asshole so I can understand how not to do it again.

Because that's all I ever wanted was the opportunity to make comments and to hear replies, and to learn something.

C'mon, you enjoyed Weezer's album "Pinkerton", right? RIGHT?

And I hear that Fleetwood Mac had a great pop punk song or two.
I never heard that one. I liked the first Weezer album but not sure if I could call it "pop punk". The first Green Day album "1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours" is probably the only pop-punk album I really got into. Also the only Green Day album I can still listen to on occasion.

Fleetwood Mac pop-punk?! huh?

PAUL: Just make something up man. Anything.

The only reason I explained exactly why I didn't like it was that at times I've said I didn't like something and I get asked why. My friend, you understand exactly. I could not get into the song because it was too glaring and not harmonius.

Check this out. I mean, the first time I heard this it blew me away. I was besotted beyond beliief by this song. Consider it, how it works and how it sounds. Ans that was before I even heard the words. 24 seconds of instrumentals and I was knocked out of my socks. That was 28 years ago, and while obviously it doesn't move me that much now, I still remember how I felt, a sense of sheer amazement, when I first heard it.

LOLOL that's generally how I come to dislike things too.
