Having a higher view of the world has also given me a higher view of myself. Thus, my tendency to let people step all over me (a trait which I have really struggled with in real life over the course of my entire life) has receded noticably.

Just one more great side-effect of this self-catalyzed metamorphosis! I sincerely cannot recommend it strongly enough for those of you with a dim view of either yourself or the world you walk through.

I shared this with Robb earlier (back when he was still returning my emails :sad: ), but unfortunately I will not be able to make it to this years Vegas bash. A cousin in my family is getting married, and I was invited -- you know, that kind of "invited" where it is either "show up" or "you're out of the will"? So I kind of am obligated to go.

You know, back when this happened, I was upset about it and didn't want to go to the wedding. But now I am looking forward to seeing two young people in love embark on the grand voyage that is the rest of their lives together! But weddings are always heartwarming like that, even when it's not a relative, aren't they?

It was simply a personal decision that I made. And that you can make too, once you're ready!
