Someone converted a Zoo Keeper to a 10 Yard Fight.

It's how I feel about the Saints' season.

The Bears won last night, and all it cost them was three starters.

The Saints did it! They lost to the Browns. Amazing.

And since then they've outscored the Jags 34-10.

CAPTAIN KIRK FTW.

The Saints have taken the lead. It is 17-16. They have the lead because the Browns failed to convert at PAT. This is the sort of team we're --

The Browns are now playing Johnny Manziel. A rookie quarterback. I am of the belief that no "serious" team with championship goals should lose to a team playing a true rookie quarterback. (The theory being that if your defensive coordinator can't confuse a kid out of college then you have no chance at stopping an elite QB in the playoffs.)

But this is even greater than that. The Browns are attempting to "ease" Manziel into the NFL. They probably go back to Hoyer at some point.

If we lose to a team that is more interested in developing their young players than putting the best players out there, then I will watch but give up on the Saints having a shot at the SB. I am not saying that I will be nothing but doom and gloom, but I will revert to watching the NFL as a more general fan, rather than one who thinks his team has a chance.

I realize that I typed all this up and Pinback's Redskins just saw their starting quarterback in Robert Griffith III go down with an injury. Argh.

WHY IS TERRY BRADSHAW DOING HIGHLIGHTS ON FOX.

HE CAN NOT SPEAK QUICKLY.

HE CAN'T KEEP UP WITH THE PLAYS. THIS IS NOT A NEW THING.

WHY DID WE HAVE TWO GUYS WHO COULDNT SPEAK ELOQUENTLY OR QUICKLY IN BRADSHAW AND SHANNON SHARPE ATTEMPT TO DO HIGHLIGHTS.

I realize they fired Sharpe. Actually, I wonder who is doing halftime highlights on CBS.

Saints playing against:

- Rookie head coach in second game
- Garbage quarterback in Brian Hoyer
- They spent their first on a backup QB so even the boost awful teams get from the first round is not a factor this game

And they are about to lose 10-0 after a neutral zone infraction that wiped out a missed field goal.

Oh, it was a first down, never mind. About to be down 14-0.
