You're arguing with something I never said and I blew it? haha

Sure.

pinback wrote:Didn't you JUST fucking say this:

Idiot. You are JADED AND OUT OF TOUCH, because you think it is awesome and something to brag about that you've never seen Gangnam Style and don't know what a Harlem Shake video is.
Yes, I did say that. Can you point out where I said that I was NOT jaded and out of touch? Then your argument would have a point.

You can't badmouth people for being out of touch, and then strut around in self-admiration for never having seen a goddamn Harlem Shake video in the same day.

You have to at least give it a day in between. Lethargic, now is the correct time to admit that you kinda blew it with that one. I mean, pick a side. Either join the rest of the "cool kids who hate everything" that the rest of these 40-year-old failures fashion themselves, or open yourself to the world.

It's the American version of Gangnam Style.

It's a joke song and has a humorous video so it went viral because people were watching it for the goof. But people watched the video so much that the song got stuck in their heads and they actually started liking it.

If Chocolate Rain happened now it'd end up on the radio because we live an internet meme obsessed society.
You have defended it WELL. (Please don't leave.)

I've never seen it. And I've never seen a Harlem Shake video. I have no idea what that is.

SPOILERS: They are fun and hilarious, and you are a goddamn lunatic.

Unless you are being ironic, in which case you are terrible at it.
Can you not fucking run ONE FUCKING PERSON OFF THIS FUCKING BBS??

ONE, YOU MISERABLE FUCKING FUCK?

Jesus FUCKING Christ.

lethargic, I apologize for pinback's terrible behavior. If you take a look at the userlist and note whose posts you've seen and which you haven't, it's because pinback has run EVERY GOD DAMN PERSON off this BBS with his terrible attitude.

He does not speak for any of the rest of us and I hope you will stay. I really do hate him.

Ok, this Macklemore song is not the one they played on The Colbert Report, which was not very good, and dudes weren't really a very interesting interview.

Having watched the video, ok, yeah, I had heard about this song and having listened to it in its entirety, I can say, yeah, it's pretty entertaining. I can't say for certain that the enjoyment will not wear out its welcome, and judging by the other stuff I've seen of these guys, yeah, I'd be surprised if I like another one of their songs.

Still, the hit song is not the piece of trash I thought it was going to be.

How about you let me do my own show, huh? How about that? How about, nobody tell me what the fuck belongs on my goddamn show, from now on.

I am playing that Mackledick song ten times in a row on the next episode.

by RealNC » Mon May 20, 2013 4:29 pm

Hm, it starts with "what what". There's another song with "what what" in it:

Macklemore?? Hm. Macklemore.

Nope, doesn't ring any bells. What song are we all referring to?

WHAT SONG?!?! VIOLATION!! VIOLATION!!!!

by ICJ » Mon May 20, 2013 12:26 pm

The song is terrible! lethargic, defend it right now.

The cretin is trying to rhyme "pocket" and "awesome." Let me state for the record that he does NOT succeed.

Dude and his musical partner were on "The Colbert Report." My guess at the time was that in TCR's efforts to capture every possibly-big rising thing, they had this pair which I found pretty unimpressive. I figured that would be the last I ever heard of them since I didn't think the rapping was that good, the music wasn't catchy, and the message made you want to roll your eyes.

So it's quite strange to hear them mentioned here (granted, luckily for me, this is only the second place I've heard them mentioned). Enjoy your ignorance, pinback!

What song? What sort of fappery is this? Please provide context.

Violation!
