Jonsey just taught me what that thing meant, so I'm going to attempt to use it...

Say, in the unlikely event Tiger actually wins this tournament, I'm going to get my 2 bucks, right? o__O;;;;

(How was that?)

by Ice Cream Jonsey » Sat Apr 12, 2003 4:23 pm

Just give up. He's not as good as you say. We are not sweating here.

o__0;;;;

Stop that!

0_0;;;;

STOP THAT!!

by TigerCast 2003 » Sat Apr 12, 2003 3:38 pm

Hmm.

Well now.

Having to make a tricky three-footer to even make the cut this morning, Tiger went out in the afternoon and shot a tidy little bogie-free 66 in the third round, leapfrogging over approximately 40 competitors, and landing in a tie for fifth, four shots back going into tomorrow's final round.

Well now.

by ErnieCast 2003 » Fri Apr 11, 2003 9:08 pm

FUCK! Fuckity fuckity fuckity fuck!

by Ice Cream Jonsey » Fri Apr 11, 2003 3:08 pm

Ok, but Ben conceded the dollar, right? Right?

I am excited. For the field, I mean. Finally, the field does something for ME.

by TigerCast 2003 » Fri Apr 11, 2003 3:04 pm

...but wait!

As of right now, the leader has come back two, and Tiger has birdied two in a row, so he is now only six shots back, not even halfway through the second round, tied for 21st.

While I am not going to start getting excited yet, six shots is nothing on this course, in these conditions. If he can keep the pressure on, we might be in for a stunning reversal.

But I am not going to start getting excited yet. I'm not, I'm not, I'm not.

I'm NOT.

by Ben » Fri Apr 11, 2003 12:36 pm

Well, there goes that dollar.

FUCK

by FieldCast2003 » Fri Apr 11, 2003 12:18 pm

Woods began his day by hitting four ugly shots before chipping in from about 40 feet for a bogey. He also bogeyed Nos. 4 and 5, hardly looking like the guy who dominated Augusta the last two years.

While Woods struggled, Darren Clarke of Northern Ireland and Sergio Garcia of Spain, surged to the front on a soggy course, inundated by 4 inches of rain since Sunday.

For the record, both Clarke and Garcia count as members of "the field."

This is the worst thing to ever happen, ever.

by Ice Cream Jonsey » Fri Apr 11, 2003 11:09 am

How about that Field! Not bad, eh?

Can we get an update from TheFieldCast2003?

God, I'm sorry.

I had no idea. I'll stop being mean to you now. Your life sucks enough already.

No. However, I do own two Bichon Frise dogs.

by Ice Cream Jonsey » Thu Apr 10, 2003 10:58 pm

Do you own a cat?

by TigerCast 2003 » Thu Apr 10, 2003 10:29 pm

Well, let us try this again, shall we? Ostensibly, the players will tee off at 7:30 AM EST, and play 36 holes today (Friday).

Of course, this will not come close to actually happening. The start will doubtlessly be pushed back a few more hours, and if they manage to get any more than one or two extra holes after the first 18 in, I will be mightily impressed.

But no matter, the tournament will happen sometime, and it will be finished sometime, and it will be the greatest thing to happen in 2003...

...so far!

by TigerCast 2003 » Thu Apr 10, 2003 8:14 am

Our first shocking "major" disappointment has occurred!

Weather has postponed the start of the Masters until TOMORROW (Friday) morning!

What was surely to be the most exciting and anticipated day of the week is now just an ordinary Thursday.

by TigerCast 2003 » Wed Apr 09, 2003 9:46 pm

Gentlemen, please. With the start of the Masters tournament a mere 10 hours away, let us please maintain order and sensibility while we anticipate this, the most cherished of all golfing events.
