I was going to pick a fifth, but then I got sidetracked by thinking about a cross over movie between Gladiator and Black Hawk Down ... like a group of Gladiators got lost or captured in a different arena and some other Gladiators would have to storm the arena and save those other Gladiators while enemy soldiers and lions and shit are hunting them down ... that would be awesome.

I guess that's a good point.

I wish he would make a movie where Charlize makes out with a bar skank in spa-- (MALE PRIVILEGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

As long as he sticks to science fiction or vengeful, suicidal bar skanks, dude is GOLDEN.

See, that's why people say Gladiator. Because they couldn't think of a #4 (now #5) and they didn't want to just end the conversation.

Blade Runner is #1 mostly in the opinion of people who haven't seen it (or Alien) in a while.

When put head to head, it's not even close.

Blade Runner is #1 IN MY OPINION, and in the opinion of many people.

Pick Ridley Scott's Fifth Best Movie

Obviously Ridley Scott's top four movies are:

1. Alien.
2. Blade Runner.
3. Thelma & Louise.
4. Prometheus

To argue this is to admit insanity. But looking through the rest of his godawful oeuvre I'm at a loss to assign any of this shitpile to #5.

Anyone who says Gladiator or Black Hawk Down is immediately banned from this BBS.

I want to say Matchstick Men because of all the other movies of his I've seen I disliked it the least. But this is about a TOP FIVE list, man.

I want to say American Gangster, just because Clash liked it a lot, and, you know, he seems like a good guy.

But Jesus Christ, Ridley:
