Haha that's funny.

I had some buddies that got "banned" from Celebration Station because on the last lap the 3 or 4 of them all spun around and starting going backwards

(the downside of no editing ...)

Well he did break the rules, but not by going backwards.

I was told after the race that if my son performed the PIT maneuver on another driver again he would be ejected from the game room. When I said that it must've been an accident I was told that he shouted, "PIT MANEUVER!" every time he did it.

Is it my fault we watched "Most Shocking Police Chases Part 7" the night before we went?

Did Mason break the rules, though? Did he turn that shit around and drive BACKWARDS, which is the only thing I bother to do in racing games any more?? !

I am going to have to insist you go to Poleposition. I understand that saving money will cost $100. I am willing to send you these funds providing it doesn't require making some damn-ass account. Leave your children behind, they do not have the need, the NEED for SPEED.

Once you have repeatedly and inexpertly rammed a go-kart into a wall so hard you wonder if that shiftless 16 year old is going to have to ask you to leave, and YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO OBEY you'll understand why I am so obsessed.

Or, you know, maybe you'll just have a little fun and then go back to living your richly rewarding life. Some of us have to crash go karts instead.

The under-14 go-kart track is just a big, slow oval.

So, pretty much, yes.

IS SOMEBODY SERIOUSLY CHARGING MONEY TO DRIVE A BUMPER CAR IN A STRAIGHT LINE?!

I have decided to make a conscious decision to take my kids to more arcades. I don't think this business model will be around forever, so hopefully I can plant enough positive arcade-related memories in their little impressionable heads to turn them into irrational, hoarding collectors at some point in their future.

That being said ... "GattiTown" was formerly known as Incredible Pizza, a name that was begging for a class action lawsuit. ("Your honor, we the jury find this pizza less than incredible.") I don't know what a "Gatti" is but phonetically it's not far off from "Ghetto." Just sayin'.

GattiTown is yet another "pizza arcade". The buffet is $5.99 (drinks are an additional $2) and is required for entry. Fortunately, Tuesday nights are now $2.99 buffet night, and I'm working on getting my kids to drink water. They do have some package deals, including $16.99 for a buffet and $15 in game credits.

We bought 3 buffets (2 kids and 1 adult), 3 drinks, and $20 in credit and the total was $33.

The games all work on the "card" system, which means you swipe a card like a credit card to play games. The cheapest game we saw was 30 cents. Some of the larger ticket redemption games are $2. Go-karts are $5 for about 5 minutes of the slowest running cats I have ever seen.
