That's almost as funny a mistake as TDR logging out, coming up with a fake name, starting a thread about a bad baseball call, and then forgetting to link the goddamn play in question!

An outfielder for the Yankees was running for a hit and ends up falling into the bleachers. Video shows that a fan caught the ball. The player climbs out of the bleachers clutching his (empty) glove in his arm and walking back to the dugout.

The umpire never bothered to verify that the outfielder had actually caught the ball, and called the batter "out."
