If you can't enjoy The Tings Tings you are dead inside.

Hey fella, I gotta agree, I'd definitely want to bang her if I had the chance. Not that I'd ever actually get the chance, but I'd definitely want to.

Gotta check the Wik, this nice girl, or rather, this really delicious bangable chick, reminds me of the one that did "Hollabeck Girl," an attrocious mispronounciation of the low-rent Hollenbeck slum of Los Angeles. Nope, Hollaback was done by Gwen Stefani, this girl is British. "Ay, pretty bird, wouldst yo' mind if I knock yo' up some time?" (Get your mind out of the gutter! Ahm slightly educated, 'knock you up' in British slang means to phone someone.)

Hahaha, holy shit, fucking end copyright already.

by RetroRomper » Sun Apr 07, 2013 5:47 am

On a slightly unrelated note, Warner Music Group stripped the official White Stripes Youtube channel of all their music videos and replaced them with commercials for their new documentary!

Great use of copyright take down messages!

Congrats to RetroRomper for finally finding something he doesn't like!

You're playin' with the big boys, now!

Oh yeah, Retro told me to tell Pinner over Twitter that he was listening to the Ting-Tings the other day.

Mission: Accomplished!

After being semi-forced to listen to their last CD, I believe the answer to Pinback's statement continues to be...

NOPE

Going to actually agree with you here, as I accidentally stumbled upon them again and was quite surprised as to the inspired yet unique direction they have taken themselves. Anyway, here is my favorite single off their new album:
Agreed - some of their older stuff kicks ass, too.

Were the Jolt Country Comedy Duo, so when you post something as absurd as the Ting Ting's, I'm here to capitalize on the gag as much as possible.

Anyway...

NEXT BAND

That is so funny! You're so FUNNY, Retro!! Howdya get so damn funny?!

Oh Ting Ting's... Please continue to be oh so AWESOME.

Anyway, the new album came out today, and it's fucking brilliant. They're about as diametrically opposite from the "pretentious mashing of production values and image" that they've been accused of in this terrible thread.

Just two supremely talented musicians tearing it up. That's what they are.

Sure! Emotions are the result of spontaneous chemical reactions in the body. Not up to you, they just happen!

How? I do not understand what is going on, so your response is the typical "blame the victim" mode of the incompetent. Accuse me of being bad at thinking rather than analyze what was said and reconcile it.

And you call me bad at thinking. Lame, lame lame. You are a wart on the ass of the Universe, awaiting the splash of Compound W to terminate your less-than-worthless existence.

Jesus you are bad at thinking.

Also, Eleanor Roosevelt was the Nancy Reagan of black and white.
1. What a Gyp! We don't see the drunk driver get killed. Even though it's called "the funeral" we don't even see if the drunk actually got hit by the garbage truck (or whatever truck it was if it wasn't a dustbin).
2. As is often typical with music videos, the video had absolutely nothing to do with the content of the song.
3. What does Eleanor Roosevelt have to do with this video? (Unless you're tying my earlier quote from her to Pinhead's comments.) We don't see her or any reference to her in the video (or the song). From what was shown I think we're supposed to think the video is from about the late 1960s or early '70s.

Also these are the two dumbest quotes in the history of the human species.
Why? Are they wrong? Are they inaccurate? In what way are they incorrect?

Can someone make you feel inferior, or guilty, or a failure, against your will?

Presuming the answer to the last question is "no," then, if you allow someone to do that to you, whose fault is it?

Or (let's say this softly) are they true and obvious, and you don't like it?

by Tdarcos » Fri Feb 10, 2012 10:37 pm

Okay.

(Note I did not quote Pinhead's post challenging me to post without quoting anything!)
