Here's how many fucks we give:

You want to talk about reading, I can tell you all what I don't like reading: any of the 1,000 posts the last two weeks by one of the 1,000 "reality checks."

by RealityCheck » Tue Oct 25, 2011 7:05 pm

We had to get rid of cable and are watching it on the computer. We have the last 5-6 episodes awaiting our pleasure and I'm trying to avoid spoilers. I'll get back to you on this in a week.

What are some books that I haven't read that are better than Breaking Bad? |
There was a certain time wherein your own brother said "I don't like wine". You gave him some of the best wines ever as a challenge and he just didn't like wine. You don't like reading. Not books, anyway. Not recently. So, anyone can recommend the best book ever and you will not like it.
This thread is NOT ABOUT BOOKS. This thread is rapidly becoming YAHOO MIDWEST, in which people who are not interested or do not like the entire subject matter are compelled to post "MEH" and blame Obama, when decent people are just trying to decide on the greatest episode and/or greatest season of TV in history (in this author's opinion, the finale of BB season 4, and BB season 4 respectively.)

This is completely unacceptable.

THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

EDIT: FUCK!!

I can pretty much have a high degree of confidence you have not read it.

I think I'm just burnt out on BB and television in general because while I did enjoy seasons one and two, three started to feel as if they were dragging themselves out. Then the only episodes I was able to stand in Season Four, were the ones that primarily took place in the industrial meth lab and preferably involved creating and treating the drug.

That is a bad take.

That's a really bad take.

Thumbs down. Go read a book.

Yes, you already won the argument.
I'm sure it's very good. The one bit I saw was a bunch of people from Baltimore yelling motherfucker at each other, which is a pretty accurate representation of Baltimore.

I know I didn't get the full experience, though. I'm sure it's very good.

Really, though. What episode of that show would you put up against either of the last two finales? (Or if you want to get hardcore, the vast majority of the episodes of the last two seasons... or all four seasons...)
Why don't you just watch the first two seasons of it? It's like 8 episodes a season. HBO, yo.

Seriously, what else do you have going on?

See, that means I won the argument. The only defense you have left is "BUT DA WIRE".

Alright, alright. I'm just saying, even WIRE guys all over the universe are hopping onto the winning team, jumping on the meth train, what have you.

I'm sure it's very good. The one bit I saw was a bunch of people from Baltimore yelling motherfucker at each other, which is a pretty accurate representation of Baltimore.

It's hard to talk television with you when you refuse to watch THE WIRE.

Ice Cream Jonsey wrote:I watched it again as well. It was not the best Breaking Bad finale. It was the second best! Are you gonna say it was better than how season three ended, pinback?

ARE you?
I'm gonna do two things here:

1. Yes, I am gonna say that.

2. Then I am going to fight you.

Sorry, I forgot to specify I was talking about the Breaking Bad finale in my previous post. I have EDITED IT (SORRY ROBB) to be more specific.

Why/How did a thread about Breaking Bad become a discussion of Battlestar Galactica?

Full Disclosure: This post was post-edited to correct the word "thread" above which was misspelled "threat".

I just re-watched the BREAKING BAD finale last night, and I am now prepared to FIGHT anyone who claims that wasn't the best sixty minutes of television ever created.

I will fight them.

If YOU are one of those people?

I will fight you.
