This is a Flash game you can play right in your browser at the above location?

Trippy music plus diving through primordial ooze eating up little creatures to evolve into a big creature sounds like a fancy version of NIBBLES.BAS! And I guess, in a way, it is, but in more ways, it's a game to "dive into" (hee hee!) and lose all sense of time and space under its hypnotic, addictive pull!

It's like that game on TNG that everyone played instead of doing their job! Except... no, it's exactly like that!

GAME TO GET HIGH TO #1:

It is called Phyta, and with a background of soothing guitar music, you will direct the growth of a tangly vine organism as it attempts to swallow little yellow angels flitting about the screen, with which it will feed itself to become even larger and more tangly.

Here is a screenshot to give you an idea of how genuinely trippy this thing is.

So try it! Download it, fire it up, and lose yourself in some sort of hippie trance. If computer games can be art, then I think this is a lot closer to it than Bioshock.
