Since what we do here is bag on sports columnists, I'll do one.
The big, top-of-Yahoo news story today is that Kelly Tilghman, golf commentator for The Golf Channel, said on-air during Friday's broadcast of the first tournament of the year that the young players on tour "should lynch [Tiger Woods] in a back alley."
Without knowing anything else about it, obviously, this means that Kelly Tilghman hates all black people and wants them to be killed! Just ask
Roy S. Johnson, whose article the Yahoo link leads to, and whose article begins this way:

Well then, by all means, give us your conclusions about what should be done about this, based on admittedly not knowing anything about it!

It would be a travesty if Tilghman is allowed to broadcast the next event for the Golf Channel.
...
At minimum, a suspension is in order.
...
Tilghman has reportedly reached out to Woods to apologize. Here's hoping, at least for the moment -- until the Golf Channel makes its statement -- that he does not accept the call. Or the apology.
And...
(I swear I am not making this up, and yes, I'm aware that it's a typo, but it's just too perfect not to reproduce here in its entirety.)

Nice job, Roy.
If you ever get around to it, though, you can click
this link to get some more context and a reality-check about Kelly's comment, which while certainly ill-advised, was still pretty goddamn benign, particularly when you consider that she and Tiger are friends, and like each other very much.
Dumbass.
