Does Alan Tudyk get killed the same way in every movie? I haven't seen Patch Adams, but I assume he is a patient that dies just as you think he's going to make a complete recovery.

3:10 To Yuma is a great movie. ****.5

My boss' husband liked it, too, so now that's 2 people whose movie tastes run similar to mine that recommend it. I thought the preview made it look like it could go either way.

Wahahahahaha! Okay, I admit I missed that. Good one, BBM.

Er, RotK, I think that was me.

Brokeback Mountain
Brokeback Mountain was just two hours and fourteen minutes long. Believe me, I know.
You know, I think Brokeback Mountain was making a joke there. It was a humorous play on the words "come on dude" which could, I suppose, be taken as a description of the movie. But not of RotK, unless you want to take the Frodo-Sam relationship in a slashy direction.

For instance, some three hour movies of the 21st Century have five or six "endings." And that's before you get to bonus material on the DVD.

Well, I am just saying that every movie made these days is well over two hours long, sometimes approaching three. This has not resulted in better, more gripping movies.

"OUCH!!" - 2007

I just assumed that the movie was three hours and ten minutes long.

(Because of the title?)

No, because it was made in 2007.

A name of a really, really good movie which is out right now is: "3:10 To Yuma". I thought it was going to refer to the fact that it took three hours and ten minutes to get to Yuma, but that is NOT the case.

Anyway, this movie features BALE, and it features CROWE. BALE does his usual excellent job, but CROWE friggin' rules.

BALE plus CROWE plus OLD WEST plus lots of GUNS plus a psychotic, creepy bad guy plus REALLY TENSE ENDING equals AWESOME.

And STAR plus STAR plus STAR plus STAR equals FOUR (STAR STAR STAR STAR) STARS.
