Mediawiki is hands down the most user friendly install you're going to ever run into in Linux. You run through a HTTP form and boom, you've got an empty wiki, no articles, and no assholes arguing that Magneto isn't the most powerful mutant.

Yeah, I see you went that way for the Wozipedia, which is along the lines of the information resource I want to create for a future IF game. I want to set something up that has a definite "I'm finished!!!" condition. For some reason I thought MediaWiki didn't meet one of my two requirements, which was PHP and MySQL, based on the company I host with.

I downloaded WikkaWiki earlier, so I suppose I'll try those two out and see how they crumble. Of course, the main thing I'm worried about in all of this is not security, reliability or flexibility, but that I'll grow Asperger cells in my beard area and vote to constantly delete my own pages. But if you're holding up OK on the Woz one there is hope for us all.

Wiki Software

Has anyone setup a kind of Wiki software on their own before? Big things are afoot and I find myself needing to install some. The software using a database is fine, MySQL preferred I guess, because that's what POE Hosting gives me, but if the easiest / best package uses something else I'd adjust.
