This movie was good. It had excellent performances (topped by far by Alan Arkin, who rocked like Slayer), witty dialogue and construction, and thought-provoking philosophy.
If only it was a little more energetic. It could have been done just as effectively as a play, and in my view, if your movie is only as good as its play, then what was the point of making the movie? Let's throw a little of that cinematic magic in there, huh? How about an explosion or two?
Anyway. I'll give it three (***) stars, though it probably deserves more. I just yawned too many times during it.
