Here's today's JEFF SUPPAN update, for anyone who's still following this riveting story:

Yesterday, 10.17.2004: On third.

Today, 10.18.2004: Still on third.

Stay tuned for any breaking updates, as we watch this situation unfold.

They will absolutely be back. But they should've at least showed up for this series. As soon as I heard that they were depending on fucking JEFF SUPPAN for a victory in their first game at home in the Series, I knew it was over.

Go Chowderheads!

High comedy, this. You're both to be commended.

1,918. They're all Demmycrats anyway. Just call 'em extremely late-term abortions.

How many people need to die after the Sox win the series?

Hey, go Cards!

What an awesome old-timey World Series this is going to be. I'm a Jays fan, but had an affair with the Red Sox while I lived in Boston for several years, so I'll be pulling for them. In fact, assuming the series goes to 6 or 7 seven games, I will be making a road trip to Boston to witness the festivities. I tried all day today to get tickets by phone, but they've sold out by this point.

Unless I feel like paying $6,000 to some broker for a pair of bleacher seats.

At any rate, it should be a good series.
