Dear God, I adore Bukowski's work. And there's a lot of it in this movie. Lots of shaky drunk-cam and nasty bleedy 1970s videotape blown up really big too.

Interviews with Bono and Sean Penn, who are annoying wankers, Harry Dean Stanton, who looks like he's been living in a dumpster for a month and does a <i>fantastic</i> reading, and Tom Waits, who is God.

Six bottles of Mad Dog and a puddle of vomit out of four.
