Phone Booth was fucking awful. I want 90 minutes of my life back.

So, hey, how's about that Phone Booth!

Exactly. It's a litle formula I've worked out a couple years ago:

If I do it, I'm being funny and poking a bit of harmless fun at my own inequities.

When anyone else does it, they're being heartless, thoughtless unfunny little bastards who need to be tossed into a grain thresher just as soon as at all possible.

That's just how these things work, m'man.

That was great. I love this place.

Well, fine. Hey, folks, I'm doing an impression! Can anyone guess who it is?

I tend to give it the good ol' glance-over (no pun intended--ah, SHIT.) a litle more often now. I usually just bang out whatever without really "looking" at what I'm typing, because going over and re-reading it would actually, omg, take effort! And I type pretty fast, as anyone who's IMed me can probably attest. (Also, this keyboard sucks giant primate testicles.) So.

by Worm » Thu Dec 02, 2004 12:34 pm

Still, he's really improved typing-wise.

*AND* intollerant!

Nah, 'scool.

Well, that certainly explains the "Gay Marage."

Sorry dude, that was pretty ignorant of me.

You're never going to believe this, but I actually made the name up. I mean, I wasn't the first, but Lysander was the name I made up for a character based on myself for this fictional internet fighting game thingie. It was really weird and cool and old and dead now. Anyway, I just created the name for him, having no idea he was actually a Shakespeare character. Weirdness.

Yeah, it's sad. I used to visit it for the purposes of getting info on the fighting gamez I do so love so very much. Then I found shoryuken and left forever. But not before discovering the aforementioned war on terrorism board was a good place to make fun of morons, which I also do love so very very much. I've been called a terrorist on there, you know. Very amusing!

I troll the Game FAQs war on terrorism board. JC, CO and KnUClEs and Bruec included, is a breath of fresh spring air by comparison.

brail?
I learned on a braille keyboard, but I'm so l33t now that I don't need one. I've just memorizd where all the keys are relative to the "standard" asdfjkl; finger placement.
Worm wrote:Oh, and how is dictation software?
Couldn't tell you. I've never used any. Because I have an instinctual distrust of those programs. I've never needed them, and I can't honestly see them working that well. And they only work for one person at a atime, there's this totorial thing they have you do where you read certain paragraphs into the microphone so that it will match your voice type--so even rednecks can use it! Hurrah~! Anyway, I think the very second post on my LJ has an amusing litle tidbit from what one of those programs copied down from a conversation three of us were havingfrom all away across the room. We forgot it was on. Holy shit, I just realized that that would be the best snooping device EVER. Just put up microphones on computers and turn the monitors off, no one will have any idea they are being transcribed. GENIUS!

Worm wrote:So, Lysander is blind LOL!!? Or what?
Ah! AH! The one person on JC who hasn't been told yet! Christ, it's getting to the point where even the fucking gimmic posters know it already even though the only person I ever told was Robb and that just because I was relating it to his game. "GG!" as the hip kids say it. Can't a person have any sort of healthy amount of mysteriousness around his personage anymore?
I guess my experience with Dragon Dictate made me figure anyone who had to use such programs due to disability was shit out of luck. Though there was a pretty funny cerebal palsy diss on Caltrops. Wasn't it worse when everyone gave you shit for forgetting the enter key, and commas? So, is your keyboard brail? Oh, and how is dictation software? My brother had some after his accident and he just learned to type on his own with a sort of one finger thing. Do you have a special terminal?

Yeah, wrong Adam, foo. I'm strictly a "taker".
