Hey RobB... sorry about the Flyers. Looks like the best team won, eh? :)

Actually, the Amerks suffered the same fate... lost out in the Conference Finals. No Calder Cup games on our horizon either.

HAAAAAA!!!!
KEEEEEEEE!!!

HAAAAAA!!!!
KEEEEEEE!!!

HAAAAAAA!!!
KEEEEEEE!!!!

The wife want to saddle up Tomorrow (Sat) and drive to buffalo to see the Amerks play. I declined, I'd rather sneak down the the warM and let all the captive (ENDANGERED!) animals loose. The circus is in town so they cant play hockey here, for those of you not playing the home game..

Hey, she got the M and T suite tix for the K-hawks semi finals a while back. SHWEEEEET! Think of it... 12 seats of which there are only 4 people sitting.. a fridge FULL of blues,
waitress service and everything.....AHHhhhhhh.

Almost like being at home, but it's snot

Yeah, funny how you "pipe up" when the Flyers pull one out their collective asses.

They definitely have "mo" going into game 7 though. That was a crazy game the other night.

I'd be up for Calder Cup Finals. Definitely.

Also, I'd like to change my prediction to "Flyers in Seven." Thank you.

Lightning up 2 games to 1. My "Lightning in 5" still stands.

BTW... Jonsey... if the Amerks keep playing as well as they have been, you'll be home during the week of the Calder Cup finals. Maybe we can get you to a game.

Kinda off topic, but Amerks are kicking ass. Wrapped up Hamilton in 4. Beat Syr by the skin of their teeth, though.

Flyers 6, Lightning 2.

Flyers in five.

I will say Flyers in 7. I'll also take the opportunity to be one of those guys who hates expansion for the sake of the thread:

"All these teams with no tradition ought to be disbanded!! Grrr! Red Sox!!!!"

I don't like having to be that guy, but for the sake of the playoffs I will be that guy.

Speed kills, and Tampa's got lots of it. And they're healthy. Methinks your Flyers are toast.

Hopefully when the NHL expands to another four teams in the coming years we'll see the Springfield Trolls, Las Vegas Low Ping Bastards, Manitoba Mitnicks and the Worcester Warez.
Personally, I'd love to cheer on the Lackluster Cuntwits, whatever city and sport they represented.

Warez for President!

Well, they used to be based on Atlanta, so really it was a gay empowerment thing. Sherman burned them to the ground, so now the Atlanta Flames ho ho ho.

I may be accused of hating America, but I think it'd be really cool to see a Canadien team win the cup this year. I don't really care which one as they all look the same to me with their sloped foreheads, mangled big toes and bottles of Molson.. but Calgary certainly deserves it, they made Brett Hull cry.

But comeon.. the FLAMES?!? The fucking flaming flames? They will probably win just because they have to live down the name.

How do you rate the teams in your personal top five of favorites? I hate every single professional sports team except for the Saints, Jays and Flyers so I disqualify myself from the question. Who are you rooting for now that the Flames have knocked you out?

This lineup KICKS ASS.

(With apologies to Greg, whose Avs got knocked out by the Sharks last night.)

Three teams you never see on TV and the Flyers. Couldn't be happier to see the kids on the other three teams get a chance to perform on a more national stage. I primarily hope that the Flyers series goes 4-0 Flyers, but beyond that each one going seven would be fantastic.

The NHL really should have taken steps to ensure that Martin St. Louis, Vincent Lecavalier, Jarome Iginla and Patrick Marleau get in everyone's mug on TV, but this is the NHL we're talking about and they can't promote their sport worth a crap.
