Yeah.

Shit, I'm sorry. I'd totally forgotten about 'em. I'll see if I can get them in ASCII, and save them to a PRODOS disk, and take that over to the Mac, and then upload the ASCII files to a Web site.

Ooh. She pissed off now, feelers. You are making the girl angry to be insulted her. I am now glad I am not living in your america country.

Oh, the hell with it.

Door, ass, hitting you, avoidance, etc.

NOW I can say, without fear of a long and pointless flamewar, that the Apple ][ rocked.

Plus, I got Marinetti for the //gs today, and installed it, and now I just need to rig a SLIP connection to a Linux rig, and it will be on the net. So neener.

And I also have the Retro Replay, with BOTH the serial/Silversurfer and the Ethernet adapters, for my C64, and Contiki has a TCP/IP stack.

And the Atari doesn't have one. Suck it, bitch!

i'm not a pussy

Jesus Christ crying in a tissue, everyone on here can call you out on any goddamn thing you've ever said, and you'll fight back. *I* do it, and now you're some martyr to the cause. That's what i'm talking about. You treat everyone on here the same, except me, and always have. You talked so much goddam shit about me before you ever met me, and now we're all supposed to feel bad for you? Did I make you cry?

Here's the deal, asswipe: Law of, um, some law I learned in 9th grade states that if *I* got someone to watch anime, whether it be this anime or that anime (keep in mind that *I'm* the anime watcher and introduce ALL forms of it into this home), and then we assume that watching it thereby makes them a pussy, then *I* made them a pussy, and I'm quite sick of your back-handed statements that anyone with a goddam brain knows are fucking shots at me, even though, OH NO! you never actually said anything specific, I'm surprised you haven't started another goddam thread on your bulletin board about what a REALLY BAD IDEA IT IS for me to be around.

Jack Straw cracks his goddam car up and everyone rips him a new one, but then you come and make sure everyone knows that people may say things in forums that sound harsh, but it never carries over into real life, where everyone truly cares about wach other. Where was my assurance, after the crap you talked about me? After asking Robb how much money he spent on me, and what he's going to allow me to do in his home? Where was my welcome? You alienated me before you even met me, got all your goddam friends to do the same, completely made me into some outsider and uncomfortable around any of you, and now you're whining because I took a shot at you on a board? Grow the fuck up. You never even gave me a chance, but I'm not going to stop enganging in conversation here just because you feel put out. Strap on a pair, and try maybe, I don't know, understanding how I might have felt after some dumbass comment like that, or any of the other one's you've made concerning me.

Since it seems that I cannot bust his balls a little without you getting tweaked, I'll just go away.

Bye!
I'm telling you to stick around. And if you don't like it I'm ripping the sleeves off my "1999 Interactive Fiction Competition" white t-shirt, drilling three holes into the cutting board in order to make it a finely-calibrated frat paddle, and smacking you over the ass with it until you're gauging your appreciation for both this place and "the education" in quick yips and barks.

No, seriously. I thought you enjoyed being the man that everyone hates on here? Didn't you quote that "They hate me! They really hate me?" thing in pride? I thought it was hilarious that there is one guy who everybody dislikes here, because I know for a fact that you're a good guy, just opinionated. You shouldn't feel obligated to leave.

Which directly refers to ME as I had just got done saying this:
No, I was talking about him - as in him watching it. I was specifically aghast at:
Jonsey wrote:Anyway, when you get Bebop I'd certainly watch that.
As for bedroom, note that I said "in town" and mentioned the H&O drawing - that he left them behind him when he moved away from Rochester.

CLEARLY this means that he's been missing them ever since. Having nothing to do with you.

Frankly, my dear, I could give a damn who he watched Japanimation with. My concern is not who, it is that it is happening at all.

Knuckles and I watch anime together, too.

Wait, not anime. That other kind of anime. What do you call it... "snuff," I think.
I said I had tried to get Robb to watch anine
Don't watch the next RapXephon yet. I want to space out for 22 minutes when I get home and I want to do that rather than watch 22 minutes of Riker yelling at someone.

That would be here:

Vitriola wrote:It took me a couple weeks to realize that Robb was not going to sit down and watch the next 4 episodes of RahXephon with me
In case you weren't following, I said I had tried to get Robb to watch anine, as which point you said that him watching anime was contributing to a loss of nad, at which time I pointed out that that joke had been done (better) by others and had run it's course months ago, and now it had just absolutely nothing to do with me? Sorry, I guess you were talking about the OTHER person he watches anime with. My bad. Carry on.

I will not give it to you.

Vitre-cola:

HUH????????????????????

Who said anything about you being responsible for him being a simpering girl lately? He's been heading down that road for a while.

Jesus Christ. Last time I checked, I didn't say anything about you. Attacking me because you feel like I'm blaming you for the demise of his manliness is totally uncalled for, and were I into JC's anonymous posters, I would "demand an apology!"

I mean, really. Just relax. THIS ISN'T ABOUT YOU.

by Lex » Wed Feb 18, 2004 1:37 am

I'm not reading all this.

You're all stupid.

by AArdvark » Tue Feb 17, 2004 6:31 pm

I think Dark Star was 'sposed to be funny in a drug induced stupor kind of way. makes me wonder what the director was on while filming...

http://www.alandeanfoster.com/version2.0/frameset.htm

Little known fact: Foster DID write the first Star Wars book.
George Lucas had written the story outline and the screenplay
but had no time to actually write the novel. Of course when the movie hit the screens in '76 they needed something to put on the shelves when the movie did come out so they gave the job to Alan.

Try the first three commonwealth books and go from there. It really sets the pace for the rest of them.

Lovecraft = Excellent!!

At this rate, you'd put a fuzzy steering wheel cover on the WRX as soon as you got it. To say nothing of "Sweet Hereafter" - gads. What happened to the Jonsey that was eagerly anticipating the special edition of Street Trash? That was a "Re-Animator" fan? He's now watching Sweet Hereafter when Tromeo and Juliet goes unseen by him???????????????????
LO! ANOTHER JONSEY GETS A GIRLFRIEND AND NOW HE HAS NO BALLS THREAD! OH, MY ACHING SIDES! First of all, since you insist on using the term 'Japanimation', you are automatically dismissed from the conversation. Being the stubborn and reactionary mocking person you are, I'd almost guarantee you wouldn't be so put off it if you weren't surrounded by a bunch of women who watch it and tried to get you to like it. Just like every post today, and most days, of someone says X, you say Y, like agreeing with someone is complete anathema to you.

Secondly, what the hell is so ball-less about mecha? It's not like I'm renting Oh! My Goddess for chrissakes. And, I repeat, he wasn't into it. As for 'The Sweet Hereafter', that wasn't my recommendation, but that of a couple guys online. I didn't hate it, but I much prefer kung-fu, foreign and anti-summer-blockbuster type movies. Or 'Films'. Of the 'Art' variety. Because, you know, you can't say 'I'm into art films'. Besides, some of those are pretty gay, too.

Onward, we've already watched his copy of Re-Animator, rented the second Re-Animator, and downloaded the third one, which we will watch as soon as he can get Nero working and burns it to DVD. Which might be awhile.

We still need to watch Street Trash. And will, as soon as the definitive Q-Bert champion is determined. As for Tromeo and Juliet, I've seen it very recently, so suggested we wait awhile to get it so I can watch it with him and enjoy it, too.

And with AIM, like I said, he might have 8 windows up when AIM is on, but using icq fills the screen with windows like a virus. I like icq better, too. Which reminds me I have to have another go at installing Trillian. I filled out all the info, and tried to turn it on, at which point I might have been a naked guy in a raincoat walking down a sunny street for all it acknowledged my presence. I think I'm just going to try and re-install it.

Way back when, there was a movie called "Spaceship" that was kind of like "Airplane" except that it parodied Alien instead of Airport, only it wasn't as funny and it wasn't as well known. When I was a kid, I thought it was pretty amusing but haven't seen it in years.
That plays on Comedy Central occasionally, and it is awful. And this is coming from a guy who still annoys people by ripping off the "Cigarette? Yes, it is." gag from the original Police Squad.
