Hey, Vitriola and I went there.

They weren't taking CDs at 7:00pm, though. The wag behind the counter stated that they only accepted them during daylight or when a manager was around or when he wasn't totally stroking his shriveled cock to the Britney feature in Entertainment Weekly or some happy horseshit like that.

And, dammit, that was me.

As such, it's the favorite store of junkies, and gets some interesting stuff in the used bins as a result.

The Boulder store closed down a year or so ago, but I think Denver, at least, still has one. Not sure about Longmont.

Yeah, a dollar or so.

Things more current, underground, or hard to find would be more around $4, I think. And, as always, you get more in store credit than you'd get in cash.
Okay, when are we going? You should endeavor to find a used music store in Longmont. I haven't found a place to sell my discs in ten years. I could tote around those miserable three chord shits for another ten, easy. Someone needs to be the responsible one here and be the Hatchet Lad.

I got Monster Magnet's self titled CD for fourteen bucks at a record store ... new. Those barbarians put the fucking price tag on the paper cover too.

Boulder got represented.
Bart's CD Cellar & Record Shop

It's a loud, loud store much of the time. If you are under 25, you'll have a good time at Bart's; over 25, keep moving, there is nothing to see here.
I don't often go to record stores to have a good time. I go to buy a record. OH NOES OVER 25!!!

I seriously need to sell a bunch of CDs. And like quickly. I have a big box of them and I just do not listen to them any longer. What's the standard rate for a CD at a used store? A dollar a disc? If I could get a buck for Richard Marx's self-titled debut disc or "Unplugged" by Eric Clapton, I'd seriously go for it at this point.

Isn't this just what gemm.com does?
