It was quite interesting a lot of eye and ear candy, lacking in plot, but the plot they did have was quite..... oops er ah I mean GAME

TCM is supposed to be bad. Like, way, way, way beyond bad. Rent (or buy) the original instead.

I quite enjoyed Kill Bill - as evidenced by my review. In fact, I may see it a second time this weekend.

Honestly, if you're considering TCM, and you haven't seen the original - shame, shame, shame on you. That could be the worst movie-going decision you'll ever make. There's a particularly scathing review here by Don May Jr, the guy who runs Synapse Films (the ones doing the Street Trash DVD) and is responsible for countless classic horror films getting proper treatment back in the day, including the original TCM. Sounds like the only thing that they got right was getting John Larouqette (from Night Court) to do the opening voice-over, like he did in the original.

Guests can't post polls, unfortunately. Who knows what kind of havoc they'd reak?

It's time for MOVIE MAGIC with Fort Collins denizen A. Fodge and Vitriola tonight. The last time Fodge and I were going to see a movie it was going to be Freddy vs Jason. We did not see that movie because he needed an hour and a half to compress his Outlook folder. (The deal was, I was planning on installing his new hard drive before we left. I put it off for 8 months. I finally came up to the Fort to do it... and he wasn't ready for me. I should have waited 8 more months.)

We had discussed seeing the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but I think Kill Bill would be more my style for this eve. Who can tell? It's guys' night out, only there will be one person who isn't a guy there and who just happens to be more vulgar and crude than the actual penis-waving d00ds in the "party."

But, there isn't even a poll.

I still think no.
