Nah, he's a good guy... Just needs to smoke a fat blunt.

That Worm what a fucking maggot! Right guys?

I mean the pictures on their website. It's probably apple juice and liquor though.

Can't a guy believe intoxicants are the primary evil force in the world with out having you guys bring it up so much? Get over it.

EDIT: They don't have a bio for the Cobra Commander guy and it all and all seems they lost the G.I. Joe overtones ... probably because of legal action or something.
EDIT: EDIT: Okay, this song is referential to an episode (pretty decent too) ... so I don't know.

I don't see anyone holding apple juice...

are you sure it's not beer?

Destro is holding apple juice in almost every damn picture. They think a ten second taste of their music is going to get me hooked? Oh, and they don't seem to always be in uniform. Though the chick would be hotter if she had on the signature glasses. The could use a Zartan too; I always thought the spirit of Cobra was more nu-metal.

G.I. Joe Accuracy Rating: 3/10

Music rating (In the world of four second loops at least): 6/10

That chick: Looks hotter not gussied up like the Baroness but let's think about what is more important here!

EDIT:

Er... QUOTE: We do have a confirmation! It is hooded! Like the guy in the G.I. Joe Killaz Rap Band! Image attached:

Edit #2: I would *so* hit the girl in the band playing the Baroness with my own personal M.O.B.A.T. tank cannon. Mee-freaking-ow!!

Hooded. I think.

Is this the hooded Cobra Commander or the one with the stupid metal grunt mask?

by AArdvark » Tue Oct 14, 2003 3:07 pm

Ah yes, the Blistering speed thrash death metal mixed in with the delightful yet tasteful Middle Eastern sound of camels on fire. A smorgasboard of listening pleasure. Be sure to bring earplugs, you want to hear every drop.

Robb, you heard Kreator were ancient, not bad. They were around in the 80s thrash scene along with all those names you've heard of from back then, even though they were from Germany. I do not even say Kreator are bad, I just find that I don't like the guy's voice after a few songs. But, I'm not a huge thrash fan on any given day, even though Forbidden put out a great song about the San Francisco 49ers. Everyone who sees them live is absolutely blown away. The album they put out this year (or late last year) got nothing but top reviews, too.

Anyway, it's all about Amon Amarth!

by Worm » Tue Oct 14, 2003 1:59 pm

As is almost unreal to find in Metal today, they speak and enunciate well and as if they are not speaking some alien tongue.

I though am trying to get into the whole "distorted voice" type of music.

by Ice Cream Jonsey » Tue Oct 14, 2003 1:56 pm

Now see, I have heard just the opposite for Kreator recently.

Worm, how would you define the "magic" of Kreator for someone unfamiliar with them?

by Worm » Tue Oct 14, 2003 1:54 pm

Kreator is pretty damn good.

by Ice Cream Jonsey » Tue Oct 14, 2003 12:45 pm

QUIT FUCKING CORRECTING ME, you me-killing and me-deafening you, you.

by Vitriola » Tue Oct 14, 2003 12:37 pm

Or Memorium, whichever he prefers.

I do not like Amon Amarth

Going to go see this show tonight.

If I don't make it out alive, tell Pinback to get back here and run this place in Memorandum.
