I started the Rolling Stones discography from the beginning and am listening all the way to whatever their latest album is. Not all at once, I don't have that kind of time. Just want to try and find out what all the hype was about.
I hate to admit it, but Hackney Diamonds, their latest album that came out last year, is actually pretty solid!
Huh I'll have to check that out. I really like The Rolling Stones, though not so much the same songs you hear on the radio over and over and over. I gained more respect for them as a snotty teen after reading an interview with Thurston Moore in Guitar magazine and when talking about what inspired him to get into music, he told a story of buying a brand new Stones album way back in the day. "My friend and I just got completely stoned as we stared at the album cover and listened to it at least 10 times."
