While not an IPTV service by definition, I've been watching new stuff on https://movielair.cc including season 2 of "Silo". Works fairly well so long as you use Vivaldi or whatever ad-blocker.

Just looked them up. They're expensive, if you need more than 1 connection. Let me know if you need more than 1 connection and need something a little cheaper.

I didn't even know there was a Friday game. Good job, Goodell.
He works for the owners. He is making them shit tons of money by spreading the games across different networks/streaming services/platforms. Might be pissing off the fans... but the owners are happy. So yeah.
Kingie, what is the name of the app I should install?
Its a subscription service. You pay for the service, install the app of your choice on your streaming device of choice, and set it up. If you are truly interested, lemme know. Tomorrow is the first NFL Sunday that will really test load on the system, but their PPVs have been pretty flawless.

One Year Subscription: $139.95
Six Months Subscription: $89.95
Three Months Subscription: $56.95
One Month Subscription: $32.95

All plans now include 5 connections regardless of the tier you select.

Typical contract squabble. Disney wants more money. DirecTV wants their customers to get D+/E+ content like Comcast got for their subs. Nobody is happy with the financials, so the customers suffer.

My IPTV service went into "holy shit" mode when this happened right before the LSU/USC game last night. Apparently they get their ESPN feed from DirecTV. It was quickly reprovisioned from somewhere else and back online quickly. :)

I saw something about Disney dropping their channel from DirectTV or something. What a shitshow. It's worse than how cable ever was, haha.

The service that I ended up subscribing to now includes Stremio for free too.

I was not familiar with Stremio, or Debrid, or any of these other "things". I'm too lazy to run a server 24/7 to serve this stuff up, so I never bothered. But if someone else wants to set it all up, configure it, and give me free access, I'm all in.

Just started watching my first couple of shows on it tonight. It was pure bliss.

I ended up finding what turns out to be a VERY GOOD IPTV service.

One year. Two concurrent connections. $76. I get every US and Canadian channel (plus a lot of other countries that I'll never watch). Its amazing for sports... I watched the entire Canadian CHL (juniors) playoffs, I can watch TSN (Canada's version of ESPN, which is a million times better because I dont have people screaming at me for an hour), I can watch literally any major sporting event (big 4 sports, PPVs, UFCs, etc).

Plus tons of on-demand tv and movies.

This may be the best $76 I have ever spent.

I'd be interested to hear more details please.

Here's the deal.

I pay $9.99/month for the Disney/Hulu/ESPN+ package (after a $7 Amex refund monthly). With all the hockey I watch, this is a worthwhile deal for me. I dont mind paying this.

I pay $2/month for Peacock with a Black Friday deal. We watch very little on it, but it gets Shawn access to SNF games, so whatever. Its cheap.

I bought a Sportsline package for $35 for a year (extended to 16 months when I attempted to cancel), which includes Paramount+. Again, gets the boy Sunday football games at school. Worthwhile.

Amazon Prime is pricing itself out of relevance, I'm willing to wait another day or two for my deliveries, and pirate anything I might stream (which is very little from them). They're about to get chopped.

I use my father-in-law's MAX account. We dont watch much there, but when they crack down on password sharing, I can't justify that cost.

Eventually the TV Everywhere logins are going to catch on to the fact that I'm using my father-in-law's account to watch any of their content. I'm never getting cable for a TVE login.

So, the day is coming when I'm not going to get the content that I want, at the price that I want. So I'm trying to position myself to be ready to sail the seven seas for my TV content.

"Wait, kid, you're actually paying for all those streaming sites? Let me show you something..." (opens trench coat)

Let me ask you. How is the EPG with your service? I like the one that I am using, if I know what I want to watch and what channel it is on, But the EPG is garbage.

DAMN! Thanks, I appreciate it. I may be back in the fall when football season starts.

$10 is pricey for an IPTV service. I assume you find it pretty reliable?

I will say, I was disappointed with the sports offerings (which is really my only use case). No hockey on FloSports channels when I needed it. I tried to watch some Canadian Juniors games on the CHL/OHL/WHL/QMJHL feeds, and none of them had the game being advertised. I tried watching a few NHL feeds, and only 1 had the game that was advertised. It was just a big mess.

I actually did listen to it on the way home from dinner, but decided to watch Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny instead, while following the game via Twitter.

Jizaboz wrote: Fri Mar 22, 2024 9:44 pm What are you trying to watch that you can't get between Pluto/Tubi/Crackle/other free apps? That's generally where I start.
RIT Hockey game.

The game itself sold out in less than an hour. I did not get tickets. These games used to be held at the Blue Cross Arena (max attendence: 11500), but are now held on campus (max attendance: 4500). Plus they refuse to put the game on TV (the CW would be happy to pick up a prime time hockey game over their normal shitty programming). PLUS, the only watch to watch it was to pay $30 to FloHockey.tv for a month of access, when I needed 2 hours.

I did find a couple of IPTV services that had FloSports channels, got trials to each of them, and none had the actual game. So I just followed along on Twitter. That made me sad.
