They lost 6-2 to Boston University.

BU has 14 NHL draft picks on their roster, plus the presumed #1 pick in the upcoming NHL draft.
RIT has 0 NHL draft picks on their roster.

Rough matchup.

RIT looked great in the first period, but BU "figured it out" and put the foot on the gas in the second two periods. RIT was just outclassed. Unfortunate.

So, the infamous game that I could not watch tonight... turns out, it would've been a great game to go to. Fuckers.

RIT went down 1-0 in the first couple minutes.
Then they scored 2 late to go up 2-1.
Then they gave one up just before the buzzer, finishing the first period at 2-2.
The game slowed down a bit then. RIT took a 3-2 lead, and then scored two empty netters at the end for a 5-2 win.

The NCAA selection show is tomorrow night at 5:30 on ESPN. They have a 50/50 chance of playing in regionals in either Springfield or Providence. I am seriously considering picking my kid up from school in NH and trying to get to a game (IF they play in one of those two cities).
