Or I could just say that he offered an explanation of what he planned to do, in explicit and graphic detail, some of which you would be very interested in experiencing.
Can we just shut this place down? Not forever, I'm not saying that. Just for a few months. Fire that baby back up around the end of summer, and really send 2023 off in style!

'"Can I come over baby?"
That was the clean version.
In the story that I have posted here, one of the ways that can be described as "Sometimes he'd meet a nice lady, and invite her to come up to his room. Emphasis on the "come" of course."
Or I could just say that he offered an explanation of what he planned to do, in explicit and graphic detail, some of which you would be very interested in experiencing.
I do get the idea.
Mama Blue wrote: Sat Apr 29, 2023 9:56 am And I reply
"In a little while,
I have to clean my "poom"
It's a real mess."
I'll give you two stories. A woman asked her husband to come home for lunch, then proceeded to tell him, in intimate details, what she expected him to do instead of eating, or rather, instead of eating food, you know, like what the Big Bad Wolf planned to do to Miss Little Red Riding Hood. Okay, so she hits "send" then realizes she just sent it to her daughter because she selected the wrong recipient.

Second story. An American is visiting London and meets a quite pretty British lass, and they get deep into conversation. Nothing major, just a friendly chat. So he asks if it's okay to take her out on a date. Her face brightens, she smiles and says, "Oh sure! Here's my number. When you get the chance, you can knock me up sometime." In British slang, "knock me up' means "call me on the phone."

Here is the other story

I was seeing this Jamaican guy
Noel never had a chance to meet him
Though she knew of him
He worked a lot
And she was only over
On the weekends at that point.

Anyway.
Pom or playfully po-pom
(pronounced poom or poom-poom)
In Jamaican Patious
Means vagina.

So we're texting and
He wants to come over
And stuff
So I looked around
And noticed that my dorm room
Looked absolutely like
A tornado had whizzed through

So he types
'"Can I come over baby?"
That was the clean version.

And I reply
"In a little while,
I have to clean my "poom"
It's a real mess."

Omfg!

Yeah, your right. I gotta tell you two quick stories about technology misinterpreting me.

I was in the middle of a rave circa 2000
I'm looking for my friend Tom.
I'm 20 years old.
This was my first phone
And it had voice to call.

It's 330 in the morning
I'm in the middle of one of the
Last real Toronto warehouse raves
I pull out my phone
I open the phone 📱 and say
"Call Tom"

And the Godless tin can replies
"Calling Mom"

Nùuuuuuuu!!!!!

I meant "under wraps."
This, right here, is a good example of why we should not jump to conclusions, as opposed to say presuming the person misused the word as opposed to the technology doing it for them.

Ah, Autocorrect. One of the greatest contributors to misunderstanding since the garbled phone line. An insidious addition to our first world problems, as if we don't already have enough. I think one of the problems we're going to have in the future is all the times that someone was typing a message by voice, like I'm doing right now, and the voice-to-text processor misunderstands a word they used.

Sent from a mobile phone using voice typing.

I would like to state this is not a nitpick but a legitimate request for clarification. In the following:
Mama Blue wrote: Fri Apr 28, 2023 7:49 am She's seeing a new guy but keeps it undergrads from the others, could he be the killer?
In your comment, where you said "undergrads" did you mean "under cover" as in "on the Q.T." ?
The reason I'm asking is that some places use different slang, and this might be one such example. I respect your intelligence; some of the math topics you spoke about in that thread went right over my head. I did not want to come out and pick on your word usage, act as if you were ignorant, or I was trying to spring a "gotcha" moment, I just wanted to confirm or refute my suspicion that you used the wrong word.

Thank you.

Scream 2023

Okay so just as a preface this was probably one of the best slasher films I've ever seen.

This movie follows a main female character and her sister who had apparently been in the same Screamy situation a few years ago in a different city. This time it's in the big city.

There are also another 2 survivors in the film, a male and female, sorry I'm bad with names.

Anyway the scream is after the main character bc they blame her for the death of someone. They call her a murderer and say that she has worn the scream mask before, she has not.

She's seeing a new guy but keeps it undergrads from the others, could he be the killer?

Another 2 old characters come back and I won't spoil who incase you've seen the previous movies.

I did see the original but it doesn't compare.

Some scenes are scary, some literally jumpy. It was fun to watch.

I highly recommend!
