I think elevator

music

, light jazz, easy listening and country are my least favorite genres of music, collectively.
You certainly would not be alone with that opinion. It's an odd an probably awful style that just vibes with me for whatever reason. It's soothing to me; sort of like sitting in a cafeteria mainly filled with the elderly and elevator music lightly in the background as you hear plates clang and conversations become a wave of confusion in the distance as you eat bland food and take it all in.
However I will clarify while I can tolerate people playing bluegrass live for a bit, I despise 99.5% of country (an exception for me would be some old Beck and Dinosaur Jr that def has a country vibe), easy listening is usually lame as shit, and "jazz" is a bit of a broad spectrum that is hit or miss for me. My girlfriend dislikes lounge music, my friends dislike it, I'm pretty sure most everyone else here dislikes it and I'm certainly not here to try to change any ones mind on the subject.
However, as I come across new stuff I'll post it here for anyone who does dig it! I talked about Takako Mamiya a bit before somewhere else with others here but for the sake of continuing with another example, here is a favorite vinyl I spent too much money to buy from Japan:
Takako Mamiya is an interesting person because this is the only material she ever recorded. She completely disappeared shortly after the release and no one knows why. I hope to think it's because she ran away with someone really financially stable that took care of her.
