My special needs kid loves Clifford the big red dog, but I think that's because every kid loves Clifford the big red dog. She just likes it at an age most kids probably gave it up.
This movie has like a 6 out of 10 rating anywhere you look, which means they are judging it on Serious Cinema rules which doesn't make any sense.
Judged on Kid Movie rules, this is an easy 9. Nothing makes any sense, and we're all taught a Valuable Lesson(tm) at the end, but it's fun, it's cute, it sneaks a few jokes for the adults in there...
....and okay, I know Clifford is just a big ole CGI monstrosity, but oh man is he cute. #teamclifford
