I'm going to play CinemaSins critic and criticize this posting's click-baity title, because I expected it to be about Star Trek-themed short pants.
In case you don't know, CinemaSins is a YouTube channel that looks at movies and finds faults in them, sometimes for silly reasons, like (In a film other than the Taken franchise) "Liam Neeson isn't killing anyone in this scene." to serious (like how in Die Hard Nakatomi Corporation has $650 million in bearer bonds in its vault, after various federal financial laws were passed, that they must be doing massive tax evasion.)
So in some cases, Cinema Sins will "sin" (find fault with) a movie for doing something, then sin the same movie for not doing it, like sinning a movie for showing a scene with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background and not having some monster or catastrophe destroy it, and later, sin the movie again for the cliche of destroying the Golden Gate Bridge!
What this means is, if this had been about Star Trek themed short pants, I'd have complained it wasn't about Short Star Trek videos. And if it was about both, I'd have compained tht was ridiculous, it should be one or the other!
