When I've used a song quote in my tag line, it's always been Artist, Title with the title in italics. So I decided to ask, which do you think is right? Title or group/performer first, and quotes or italics for the title.
When WatchMojo.com does one of their frequent song review clips on YouTbe, they use Title, Artist (and since it's spoken, i don't know if it would have been quoted or italicized. So people can differ.
What's probably most important is to pick one, then do it the same way each time and be consistent. I don't know if the Amer. Psychiatric Assn. or the Chicago Manual of Style has rules for sound recording references. There are rules for website references.
So vote your preference.
