Hibernated 1 is a text adventure starring Olivia Lund, a space explorer who, after spending more than 200 years in hypersleep, awakens to discover her ship is caught in the tractor beam of a large, alien ship.
"Far away from home and surrounded by death and decay, she found the answer to one of the greatest questions of mankind. Are we alone?"
Hibernated 1 is available for the Commodore 64, Commodore 128 (80 column mode), ZX Spectrum, and Amstrad CPC. It is a free download that can be played using an emulator, of converted to a physical floppy and played on authentic hardware. Although the game uses a more traditional two word parser, lots of synonyms for both nouns and verbs should keep most players from getting stuck hunting for the right word.
