Aint you've ever played Castle Wolfenstein 2 on the C64?

I've never even seen a C64, let alone played on one. Best I could do was play on a Commodore Pet for a few minutes. One of my teachers from programming class, Mr. Cashman, brought his in so we could try it.

Spoiler Alert for the Wolfenstein games: The Nazis lost the war.

Tonight! Ghost by Miles Vinyards. After a long day of ripping down poison ivy vines from the pine trees in the backyard it's time to relax in front of the fire with a nice white wine

I don't think anyone wants to hear the story, but I made a donkey purchase at the liquor store this weekend... God I wish there was an emote option here that is more sad than just standard sad...

At least I can drink my sorrows away with it. That's the nice thing about alcohol I'm discovering, that it won't take you for bad to good but it will take you from bad to better or good to even better. It's like a bottle of magic.

Tonight! On birthday eve, fast gin fizzes on the deck.
I just made that name up, actually.

Temps dropped back into the 60s, feels quite nice.

Last night the Nasty Pirates came over and we finally broke open the Rumtopf, the concoction I've been brewing for over a year now. The ingredients were two or three bottles of Captain Morgan's spiced rum with six pounds of fruit and three pounds of sugar added. We drank the alcohol over ice, and ate the fruit over angel food cake. Everyone left with damaged livers and diabetic-level glucose levels, so mission accomplished.

Today for lunch I'm having water with a side of water.
