After giving it some thought, I have decided that I am willing to post a picture of any three bottles of your choosing assuming you do something for me in return:

1. I want you to find out how Paul is doing.

AND

2. I want you to send him something nice.

Once he responds here then you will have your pictures.

The corner of this hotel room has a shelf shaped like a trapezoid. Because the top of the shelf is not level, there's another trapezoid, this one wider, that sits on top of the first trapezoid. It's an odd series of angles that I have to think made the architect giddy and pissed off the carpenter. The dumb thing about the design is that the mini fridge, which sits inside this series of angled shelves, is completely square, and just large enough to hold a twelve pack of Heineken -- of which there are two left.
Woah, Flack, are you drinking alone in an unfortunately designed hotel room? I'm starting to get worried. Please post a photo of the Heinekens so we know you're OK.

Were the shelves square before the beers were emptied? Sometimes I have the same problem with doorframes becoming less than rectangular during festive states.

Drinking alone in the hotel room is one of the few delights of a business trip. Other highlights include expensing airport drinking, living like a pig for a couple days and freedom to relax on the bed with the porn in the open instead of having to hide it from the wife.

I had to re-read the above post to make sure I didn't write it. I don't have RDR2, though. Whew!

When I was younger our business trips were all about working hard and partying hard. When we were road warriors, we would get up at 6, meet in the hotel lobby by 7, work until 4 or 5, go eat, go drink, get back to the hotel after midnight, drink until 1 or 2, repeat, and try not to be the last man standing. Your body can't do that forever, or at least mine couldn't. Plus this was pre-Lyft/Uber, which means we were constantly getting loaded and driving around strange towns in rental cars, one minor traffic violation away from a career-ending DUI (or worse).

These days it's more about having a nice dinner with a nice drink, then hanging out somewhere a bit more classy. Most of us pick up beer or drinks when we get into town. I spent Monday night sitting around a fire pit with a few friends, sipping drinks and picking at a free nacho bar. It's a pace more fitting of a 40-something; finishing off a cold one left over from the night before back in the room after dinner, or occasionally, before breakfast.

Yeah I've got to cut way back myself. If anything because my tolerance level has reached rather insane proportions. Don't really have a choice at this point because age is catching up with me. Last night I was away from home and considered it a "special occasion" so I bought some Bacardi rum. Drank slightly over half a damn quart over the course of a few hours. Had to get my girlfriend to drive us home the next morning I felt so fatigued and slightly still drunk.

I don't think I'm even going to have a beer until Saturday and that's if I want one. And only buy a 6 pack even if Budweiser 24 packs are on sale. I can easily go overboard especially when I have friends over drinking with me, but it's getting harder and harder to function before lunchtime the next day.

I started off the night with Knob Creek rye, it was from the two pack of half bottles I had purchased. The Knob Creek bourbon that came in it was finished off awhile ago and I replaced it with a half gallon of Knob Creek bourbon and I plan on replacing their single barrel as well when that bottle is done. Both of them are going to be keepers that I always have stocked. The rye on the other hand I believe is going to be a one and done once the half bottle is finished. It's really nice, a very milder rye so instead of the aggressive pepper notes common in a rye it tastes more like a ginger snap cookie but without the clingy bite associated with them that makes you compulsively go back for more. If the Knob Creek rye had an aggressive and lingering finish, like a good ginger snap, then it would be something special indeed. But as it sits now it just falls flat on the finish.

I then transitioned into Four Roses Yellow Label, something I purchased because I wanted to try their full lineup ever since trying their amazing single barrel. It's really good for the category: low price and low abv. Apples, pears, sugar water, a number of other things going on that I won't get into here. But while their single barrel is again something I will always have stocked, the yellow label is probably not something I will go back to again. 40% is just too boring and diluted, I feel like 45% is the minimum for a bourbon and 43% for a Scotch.

Either this is a bit which has run far past the point of tedium, or it's not a bit and he is genuinely the most annoying person ever.

Billy, post a twenty second video of you chugging some alcohol. It's what Tdarcos would have wanted.

EDIT: This way lies redemption.

Sure, that'll happen. Ever notice that Billy is around whenever Teh Commander isn't? I get this whole Clark Kent vibe.

Ok, my new thing is going off-topic to relate everything to funny animal videos.

Hey guys! My new avatar is a green dog, that's funny because dogs aren't green! Get it?! You know what else is funny? A raccoon that thinks it's a cat:

Silly raccoon, that was cat food you were eating.

Unless Billy is actually Rigoberto Gonzalez then that video post is a waste of packets. Post your own content or at least be funny or authentic.
