Re: Paul Tracker
We can all enjoy a piping hot glass of magnesium tea, yet still check our phones. Paul, we're worried about ya.

Re: Paul Tracker
OK, I heard from Paul's sister today.
Yes, he is in the hospital again and apparently doesn't have his cell phone.
"He's very sick. Doctors think his symptoms are due to a wound on his heel that is infected. He has diabetes so this is very serious"
He's in Adventists hospital. I have the number there and will try to call after my work meetings.

Re: Paul Tracker
Alright, I have spoken with Paul.
Basically about a week ago he woke up in so much pain and weakness that he couldn't get out of the bed. This was brought on by the infection in his foot.
Today while we talked he was getting some physical therapy.. basically raising his arms up and down, wrist rotation, etc and also gently touching his legs to try to get the nerve activity in them to calm down.. basically simply bumping a leg sounds like it causes insane pain. Turning over in the hospital bed is also very painful. However, they are now giving him pain medication to deal with this.
So long as his creatinine levels go back to normal (doc remarked today they were a bit high) that he will be transferred to a rehab center. This should hopefully be the day after tomorrow. I have the number there.

Re: Paul Tracker
Still in rehab apparently. And I got pretty sick late last week with some sort of cold or flu crap. And now I'm working overtime all this week. I'll try to call him at the rehab center when I get time

Re: Paul Tracker
Well, of course it is.
It would just be great if libertarians like Paul wouldn't argue against programs they themselves use. No, Paul didn't pay enough into these programs to pay for his costs so if he wasn't being a hypocrite then he would have either changed his opinion of government welfare programs or had the self respect to stop using them when he had received back his "stolen (yeah, that's what libertarians call taxes)" taxed money.

Re: Paul Tracker
Wait a sec. He advocates for objectivism, not necessarily libertarianism, right?

Re: Paul Tracker
I think that's not right, Im sure I've read him advocating against government doing anything not described in the Constitution, which is a libertarian ideal.Ice Cream Jonsey wrote: ↑Sat Feb 16, 2019 9:35 pmWait a sec. He advocates for objectivism, not necessarily libertarianism, right?

Re: Paul Tracker
This country has changed quite a bit since that was written. Not that there should be a zillion amendments tacked on, just that .....
Hmmm wrong base.

This horseshit is getting way out of hand here. There are two purposes for this thread:
1. Finding Paul.
and
2. Admiring his work.
This kind of stuff didn't fly when pinback was a mod.

Good point, this thread now has 3 purposes:
1. Finding Paul.
and
2. Admiring his work.
and
3. Getting him to post more, when he's able.
