Which do you think he's more famous for? Major Healey on I Dream of Jeannie or Howard Borden in The Bob Newhart Show? Note in both shows he played an aviator and was a second banana to the star of the show.
Alan Francis wrote a book containing everything men understand about women. It consisted of 100 blank pages.

I'd say I Dream of Jeannie because the Bob Newhart Show was total crap.

He's more famous for I dream of Jeanie - Jeanie was first, plus it was a ripoff of Bewitched which he also had been in. Respect for Newhart's comedy aside, there's no comparison of the two shows, I dream of jeanie was an awesome show. Larry Hagman was great as the lead and Bill Daily was a decent sidekick but the belly buttoned one was the star, so hot. The concept of the show was great to me, what kid doesn't want to be an astronaut and what adult doesn't want a beautiful genie that can make anything happen. I never understood why Hagman's character wouldn't accept any help from her, I'd have been living on a tropical island with billions of cash in my basement if I had that.

IDoJ was a kid's show, for kids, and adolescent males slappin' it to Barbara Eden. Bob Newhart was an adult show, with adult humor, and was thus vastly superior. Also it had Bob Newhart in it. This is like saying "The Brady Bunch was better than Taxi."

Was the Brady Bunch better than Taxi, Jiz? And/or CO?

Taxi was better because of the people (davito, Kaufman, Lloyd, etc) not the actual show. BB doesn't even rate comparison, maybe Mork and Mindy or something else silly.

I would pay money to watch a Taxi / Brady Bunch crossover episode. Now I want to start a new television thread that discusses TV sitcom crossovers.

I know, right. The guy had billions of dollars and it made no difference in survival. There's all these new immuno therapies that turn the body's immune system against the cancer and surely this guy had access to the best options out there but no dice.
