I thought TDarcos outlived this thread... That's cheating.

As long as Tdarcos is around, which we all hope is for a very long time, I think this is the official thread. If it's not, someone lock it.

Let us hold a wake for my right leg. Hey, when Stonewall Jackson lost his arm, it was buried with full military honors.

There's one of those who I don't know him from what people know him from, I just know him from that one episode of Cheers that I saw seventy-three thousands times.

WIM WITH JIM.

You know these celebs are dropping like flies ever since Flack decided to move the dead pool back here. It's really getting out of hand.

The man whose bipolar car talent brought us both the badass Mustang and the terrible Chrysler K-Car, rip.

That's way too harsh. A 1986 Plymouth Reliant was my college car. It had been through some stuff -- SEEN THINGS -- way before I got my hands on it, but it was totally reliable all the way from orientation to graduation for me. It even kept me alive through an accident (OK, OK, the guy had just pulled out of a gas station and was maybe going 25 MPH before he rammed into me, but the point still stands). What more could I ask for? Admittedly, it was decidedly not a chick magnet, but it winnowed the field for me. You drive a Reliant and you only get the girls of good character who can overlook a man's eccentricities. Few regrets, man, few regrets.

I still have that car. Should probably drive it more. RIP Mr. Iacocca.

My first car was an '84 Dodge 400, the Dodge version of the K car. Ran OK, holes in the floorboards, couldn't do more than 70 on the highway. It finally died during a radical timing belt modification.

My first vehicle was a Dodge as well. A late 80s RAM with a Mitsubishi engine. Loved the reliable engine. Hated the vehicle.
