Lead up to the 2018 Jolt Country MVP event discussion.

Post by Billy Mays » Sun Oct 14, 2018 9:42 am

This is a topic to discuss and highlight those members who have gone above and beyond in their contributions to Jolt Country this year. The Nominations Phase will begin on November 24th and the Voting Phase on December 15th. The rules will be identical to those of last year, however, suggestions to modify these rules as well as the contest itself are always welcome and will be given serious consideration by myself.

__________

Flack. Whether it's funny stories about selling random items on facebook, his adventures in 3-D printing, pointing out how Paul is wrong by using comedy instead of just bashing him like ICJ does, crafting delicious memes, or sending Jiz candy to help him get through some tough times; Flack's generosity knows no bounds.

I can't see anyone else even coming close. The rest of us, especially Billy, really dropped the ball this year.

I was thinking the exact same thing, I just didn't want to be the first person to say it...Anyone have any objections to just calling it for Flack now?

An override requires a unanimous decision among the arbiter (me) along with all other active JC members; with Flack dissenting, the contest will continue as planned. Also, the Nominations Phase begins on November 24th and will occur in its own separate thread. The arbiter at this time will recognize Flack's appreciation for iilknz offering us alcohol and Viagra, but will not at this time recognize the nomination.

The one post iilknz made has been removed which makes him or her ineligible for nomination unless another one is made prior to the deadline. Tough break for iilknz or a certain moderator eliminating a crowd favorite from competing?

Sorry, who nominated Billy to be in charge of anything except his own bodily functions?

I call lousy spammers are disqualified to be eligible for nomination on the basis that they are lousy spammers. If guest posters, like 1 and Wrong Base Fairy can't be in this then neither can lousy spammers

This is not the Nominations Phase, that will take place on November 24th in a separate thread, and therefor Flack's nomination at this time will not be recognized. Please use this thread only for highlighting the merits of others, year in reviews, and submitting your grievances to the Arbiter (me). Thank you.

Where is Bradley Svedka when we need him? I think power has gone to Billy's head.

I was just repeating what I had written in my original post, I did that because you refuse to read what the topic is or even the title of the thread before posting stuff.

Rule Change Update: The Voting Phase will not be conducted using a poll this year but rather people will have to announce who they are voting for in a response to the thread once it goes up.

Let's show Billy that he's a valuable member of the community by taking this whole affair seriously. He is making a difference.
