Gold, War and the Police State

Post by danzaland » Wed Feb 05, 2003 6:00 am

Anybody watching the price of Gold(kitco.com)? You should! Well over 370 an ounce and rising. What does gold have to do with anything? Plenty. The dollar is hurting something fierce, war is approaching, expect it the first couple of days of March (www.globalsecurity.org) and the economy is shit. In various readings, sorry no source here but check back..., I have seen Wall St. heavy hitters say that the market is supposed to be at about 5000, not 8,000 and that it will right itself. If the economy collapses then what? The fiat paper currency we call the dollar is useless. Gold and silver are tangible currency and gold could go through the roof....800 or more an ounce. Gold is for holding and silver is for trading. You would essentialy trade a really old dime, 1964 and older (.900% silver at $4.80 an ounce) for good you needed. Bread, milk, porn...etc....
The clock is ticking. What will happen is anybody's guess but one scenario is that we attack Iraq, a counter attack, staged by the CIA and such, Marital law is declared, FEMA locks down the cities under the pretense of "Vaccinating the population" and the Police State is here.

You ask well, who is gonna enforce this? Certainly not our troops. Well of course not! That's what the UN is for! Canadian, Mexican and European troops will be the ones to come in and round up the Sheeple.

Then again... I could be wrong. Watch the signs at infowars.com

Do Canada, Mexico, and Europe even really have armies anymore? I mean, yes, I know, that's facetious, but there's a grain of truth there. Why on Earth would they be interested in sparing the man-power to police a bunch of crazy Yanks, a good five-percent of whom are probably better armed than your average member of the Danish National Guard.

I'm here to kick ass and chew bubblegum... and I'm all out of gum.

I would think that if the UN dropped by with their troops to say "hi," everyone in this country would just go berserk. There's a lot of us who feel that the US would be better off leaving the UN in the first place... seeing "UN Troops" kicking about would cause c H a O s !!!
